The 2009 Australian Poetry Slam competition WA state final kicks off at 7.30pm this Friday 6th November at the Rosemount 459 Bar in North Perth.

Come and see what all the word-fuss and hype-face is about - witness wild and brutal 2 minute battles between 11 of WA's most talented wordmongers.

See Hear Touch Taste and Smell it! This is a truly participatory event where five audience members are randomly chosen to be the judges. Its a fun way to start your Friday night!

The WA winner and runner-up will be flown to Sydney to perform at the Sydney Opera House - and are in the mix to win $5000 cash and a spot at the Ubud Writers Festival in Bali!
